Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline

A helicopter soaring above a popular California coastline abruptly began spiraling wildly, finally dropping height and plunging into a row of palm groves as spectators looked on.

Recordings uploaded on the internet depict the aircraft beginning to twirl near the shoreline then falling in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it becomes wedged between palm trees and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

First Aid Information

Emergency responders stated five people were transported to a medical facility including two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on the weekend.

Three individuals on the road were harmed. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
